Rueben Jacob Randle (born May 7, 1991) is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver, catching passes for his team. Rueben played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU). The New York Giants picked him in the 2012 NFL draft. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Growing Up and High School Football
Rueben Randle grew up in Bastrop, Louisiana. He went to Bastrop High School. There, he was a star player in football. In his last year, he played both wide receiver and quarterback. He threw for over 2,400 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also ran for 680 yards and 12 more touchdowns.
When he was a sophomore, his team won the state championship. He caught 14 passes for 433 yards and seven touchdowns that year. As a junior, he had 55 catches for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. This earned him a special award for Class 4A in Louisiana. Many sports magazines like Parade and USA Today named him an All-American. He also played in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Besides football, Rueben also played basketball, baseball, and ran track at Bastrop High.
College Football Career
Rueben Randle was one of the best young players in the country. Many experts thought he was a top recruit. He was considered the number one wide receiver prospect. Many colleges wanted him to play for them. On February 4, 2009, he decided to play for Louisiana State University (LSU). He chose LSU over other big schools like Alabama and Oklahoma.
During his three years at LSU, Rueben caught 97 passes. He gained 1,634 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. In his junior year, he was named a first-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) player. After LSU lost the 2011 National Championship game, Rueben decided to enter the NFL draft.
Playing in the NFL
New York Giants
The New York Giants picked Rueben Randle in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft. This happened on April 27, 2012. He signed his first professional contract with the Giants on May 11.
Rueben played four seasons with the Giants. During his time there, he caught 188 passes. He gained 2,644 yards and scored 20 touchdowns.
Philadelphia Eagles
On March 23, 2016, Rueben signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he was released from the team on August 28 of that same year.
Chicago Bears
Rueben then signed a contract with the Chicago Bears on January 10, 2017. But on August 13, 2017, he was placed on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury. He was released by the Bears on September 12, 2017.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
On May 22, 2018, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) announced they had signed Rueben. However, he was released by the team shortly after, on June 9.
