Saioa's Journey to Stardom
Saioa Hernández learned to sing from some of the best opera singers, like Renata Scotto and Montserrat Caballé. She started her singing journey performing in a Spanish musical style called zarzuela in Madrid. After that, she began singing different roles with Spanish opera groups.
Saioa became famous around the world in 2018. This happened when she sang the main role of Odabella in Verdi's opera Attila. This special performance was the opening night of the season at La Scala in Milan, Italy. A famous conductor named Riccardo Chailly led the orchestra. Millions of people watched this performance on TV all over the world!
She returned to La Scala in 2019 to sing the main role in another opera called Tosca. Saioa has also performed Tosca at the huge Verona Arena and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
