Starting Strong in 2016

One of his first goals was Östersund's very first goal in the top Swedish league, called Allsvenskan. He even scored two goals against his hometown club, Malmö FF. Because he played so well, big clubs like Hertha Berlin from Germany and Ajax from the Netherlands became interested in him.

He also scored two goals in the Europa League play-offs against PAOK, which sent his team into the group stages. He scored Östersund's first goal in the group stage too. At the end of the 2017 season, he won the "Attacker of the Year" award. He also scored the winning goal that helped his club move to the knockout stage of the Europa League.
