Scott Vincent Baio (born September 22, 1960) is an American actor. He is famous for his roles in popular TV shows and movies. He played Chachi Arcola on the sitcom Happy Days and its spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi. He also starred as the main character in the sitcom Charles in Charge. Scott Baio began his acting career in the musical film Bugsy Malone. Later, he appeared in the Nickelodeon sitcom See Dad Run.

Early Life and Education
Scott Baio was born in 1960 in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, New York. His parents were immigrants from Italy. He grew up in Bensonhurst with his brothers and sisters. For his high school education, he attended Xaverian High School.
Acting Career Highlights
Scott Baio started acting in 1976. His first big role was playing the main character in Bugsy Malone. This was a children's musical movie about gangsters. He starred alongside Jodie Foster in this film. They also worked together again in the movie Foxes in 1980.
Becoming Chachi Arcola
When Scott Baio was 16, he joined the cast of Happy Days. He played The Fonz's cousin, Chachi Arcola. This role made him very well-known. During his time on Happy Days, he was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards. ..... He also won two Young Artist Awards for his acting.
Music and Spin-offs
From 1982 to 1983, Baio starred in Joanie Loves Chachi. This show was a spin-off from Happy Days. He acted alongside his Happy Days co-star Erin Moran. In this show, he played a singer. Because of this role, he signed a record deal. He released two albums, but his music career did not become very big. After Joanie Loves Chachi ended, he returned to Happy Days.

From 1984 to 1990, Scott Baio starred in the comedy series Charles in Charge. He played Charles, a college student who worked as a live-in babysitter. He also directed some episodes of this show. In 1985, he was part of the cast for Alice in Wonderland. He played Pat the Pig in this movie.
In the 1990s, Baio appeared in many TV shows. He was in Diagnosis: Murder from 1993 to 1995. He played Dr. Jack Stewart in this medical mystery series. He also made guest appearances on shows like Full House, Touched by an Angel, and The Nanny.
Recent Work
In the 2000s, Scott Baio continued to act in films. He was in Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 in 2004. In 2005, he played himself in the film Cursed. He also appeared in four episodes of Arrested Development. He played a lawyer named Bob Loblaw.
From 2012 to 2015, Baio starred in and produced the sitcom See Dad Run. He played David Hobbs, a TV star who becomes a stay-at-home dad. In 2014, he guest-starred in an episode of Sam & Cat. He played a police officer in that show.
Personal Life and Family
In 2007, Scott Baio married Renée Sloan. They had a daughter named Bailey in 2007. Bailey was born a few weeks early. After she was born, she tested positive for a rare metabolic disorder. Because of this, the family started the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation. This foundation helps families who are dealing with metabolic disorders. Scott Baio is also a stepfather to Renée's older daughter, Kalyn.
He has several famous cousins. These include former actor Jimmy Baio, baseball player Harrison Bader, and musician Chris Baio.
