Severn shares its borders with several other places. To the north, you'll find Hanover. To the east is Glen Burnie. South of Severn are Odenton and Millersville. To the west, it borders Fort George G. Meade.
Roads and Rivers in Severn
Important roads run through and around Severn. The Baltimore–Washington Parkway (Maryland Route 295) is on its northwestern side. Maryland Route 176 (Dorsey Road) forms the northern edge. Interstate 97 is on the eastern side.
A part of the Severn River also forms some of Severn's southern border. The Maryland Route 100 freeway goes through the northern part of Severn. It connects the B-W Parkway and I-97.
