Shane Davis is an American comic book artist. He is famous for his work on popular characters like Superman and Batman for DC Comics.

Who is Shane Davis?

Shane Davis is a talented artist who draws comic books. He has worked on many well-known superhero stories. His art has helped bring to life some of the most iconic characters in comics.

Shane's Journey into Comics

Shane Davis went to The Kubert School in his hometown of Dover, New Jersey. This school is well-known for teaching people how to create comics.

He started working in the comics world in 2003. His first job was with DC Comics. He drew Robin #110. He also did a small drawing in JLA-Z #3.

Early Works and Famous Heroes

In the years that followed, Shane drew for many different comic books. He worked on Nightwing #88 and Wonder Woman #201 for DC Comics. He also drew for Marvel Comics, including Marvel Halloween Ashcan 2004.

He continued to draw for both big publishers. Some of his works include Marvel Age Spider-Man, Action Comics, and Batman. A special Batman story he drew was Batman Annual #25 in 2006. This comic was exciting because it showed the return of Jason Todd.

That same year, he drew for the series Noble Causes #17 for Image Comics. Shane also drew the miniseries Mystery in Space vol. 2. This story was written by Jim Starlin and featured the hero Captain Comet.

Big Projects and Crossovers

In 2007, Shane Davis drew the first issue of "The Lightning Saga." This was a big crossover story between the JLA and the JSA. After that, he became the main artist for Superman/Batman for issues #44 through #49.

In 2008, writer Geoff Johns chose Shane to draw a special comic. It was a one-shot called Rage of the Red Lanterns. This comic was part of the Final Crisis event. It also led up to a major story in the Green Lantern comic and the 2009 crossover Blackest Night.

Shane Davis also worked with writer J. Michael Straczynski. They created the graphic novel Superman: Earth One, which came out in 2010. A second book in the Superman: Earth One series was released in 2012.

Recent Work

Since 2013, Shane Davis has continued to create amazing comics. He worked on the Shadow Walk graphic novel for Legendary Comics. He also drew a Batman story for the Legends of the Dark Knight series. In 2017, he wrote and drew the main story in The New Gods Special #1.
