2024 Cook By-election
Scott Morrison resigned from Parliament in early 2024. This made the seat for the Division of Cook open. A special election, called a by-election, was set for April 13. Simon Kennedy and his family moved to Woolooware in the Cook community before the vote. They started campaigning by meeting people in shops and at beaches.
