Spidey and His Amazing Friends is a fun computer-animated superhero TV show for kids. It's made by Marvel Studios Animation and Atomic Cartoons. The show first aired on Disney Junior on August 6, 2021. It features younger versions of popular Marvel characters.
The series was very popular right away! It was renewed for a second season, which started on August 19, 2022. In June 2022, the show got renewed for a third season. Then, in June 2023, it was renewed for a fourth season. This means lots more adventures for Spidey and his friends!

What's the Story?
The show follows the exciting adventures of Peter Parker, also known as Spidey. He teams up with his awesome friends, Miles Morales, who is Spin, and Gwen Stacy, known as Ghost-Spider. Together, they work to stop tricky villains.
Some of the villains they fight include Rhino, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Black Cat, Sandman, and Arnim Zola. When things get tough, Spidey, Spin, and Ghost-Spider sometimes get help from other cool superheroes. These allies include Black Panther, Ms. Marvel and her dog Lockjaw, Hulk, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, Reptil, and The Thing.

- Peter Parker / Spidey (voiced by Benjamin Valic) - He's the main web-slinging superhero!
- WEB-STER (voiced by Nicholas Roye) - This is a super-smart computer in their secret Web-Quarters. WEB-STER helps Spidey, Spin, and Ghost-Spider with their missions.
- TRACE-E (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) - A helpful Spider-Bot who is Spidey's loyal sidekick.
- Miles Morales / Spin (voiced by Jakari Fraser) - Peter's best friend and a hero in his own right.

How the Show Was Made
Show Development
Marvel Animation first announced this show for younger kids in August 2019. It was their first preschool series! Disney Junior quickly renewed the series for a second season in August 2021. Then, on June 15, 2022, they renewed it for a third season. Starting with season 2, Marvel Studios Animation took over making the show. On June 13, 2023, Disney Junior announced a fourth season was coming!
Music for the Show
Patrick Stump, who is famous from the band Fall Out Boy, wrote and performed the catchy theme song for the series. He also composes all the music for the show. Patrick Stump is a big Marvel fan. He used ideas from other Spider-Man movies and shows to inspire the series' theme song.
When and Where It Aired
Spidey and His Amazing Friends first showed a series of 11 short episodes. These were called Meet Spidey and His Amazing Friends. They premiered on June 21, 2021, on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. Later, they came to Disney+ on July 16.
The full series officially premiered on August 6, 2021. It aired at the same time on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. It then came to Disney+ on September 22.
The second season of the Meet Spidey and His Amazing Friends shorts premiered on July 18, 2022. You could watch them on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. They arrived on Disney+ on August 17.
The second season of the main series premiered on August 19, 2022. It also aired simultaneously on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. It came to Disney+ later that fall.
On October 10, 2022, the show also started airing on CBeebies in the United Kingdom. This was special because it was the first Disney-based show to premiere on that network!
