Srbuk, whose real name is Srbuhi Sargsyan (born April 3, 1994), is a talented singer from Armenia. She became well-known after being the runner-up on the first season of Armenia's The X Factor. Later, in 2018, she competed in The Voice of Ukraine and finished fourth. Srbuk proudly represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her song was called "Walking Out".

Early Life and Music
Srbuk was born in Yerevan, Armenia, on April 3, 1994. She loved music from a young age. She studied at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. There, she learned to play the qanun, a traditional Armenian string instrument.
Srbuk's Singing Journey
Starting with X Factor
In 2010, Srbuk took a big step in her music career. She auditioned for the first season of The X Factor in Armenia. She sang "Soon We'll Be Found" by Sia. Srbuk joined the team of Garik Papoyan, a famous Armenian musician. She performed very well throughout the show. In the end, she finished as the runner-up.
Forming a Band and New Songs
After The X Factor, Srbuk continued to make music. In 2012, she formed her own band called Allusion. They played at local shows and gigs. In 2014, Srbuk worked with Garik Papoyan again. She was featured on his song "Boat". This song was part of the soundtrack for a Russian movie. In 2016, Srbuk released her very first single, "Yete Karogh Es".
Competing on The Voice
In 2018, Srbuk decided to try another big singing competition. She joined season eight of The Voice of Ukraine. Her coach on the show was the Ukrainian singer Potap. Srbuk showed her amazing vocal skills. She made it far in the competition, finishing in fourth place.
Representing Armenia at Eurovision
The Big Announcement
In November 2018, exciting news was announced. Srbuk was chosen to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. This huge music event took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. After the announcement, composers were invited to send in songs for Srbuk.
"Walking Out" on Stage
In March 2019, Srbuk's song for Eurovision was revealed. It was called "Walking Out". The music for the song was created by Lost Capital and tokionine. The lyrics were written by Garik Papoyan. He had also helped write Armenia's 2014 Eurovision song for Aram Mp3. Srbuk performed "Walking Out" on May 16, 2019. This was during the second semi-final of the contest. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the final round. She finished 16th in her semi-final.
Music After Eurovision
In October 2019, Srbuk released a special album. It was called Armenian Folk. This album featured her unique versions of traditional Armenian folk songs. In November 2020, Srbuk joined other Armenian singers for a charity song. The song was titled "Mez vochinch chi haghti" (which means "Nothing Will Win Us"). This song was produced by DerHova.
