St. Henry is a small village located in Mercer County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 2,596 people lived there. It is known for its strong community and successful local sports teams.

History of St. Henry
St. Henry was started in 1837 by a man named Johann Heinrich Römer. He bought the land from his brother and planned out the village. The date July 13 is important because it's the feast day of St. Henry, who the village is named after.
At the center of the village is St. Henry's Catholic Church. This church was finished in 1897. It is so important that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A post office has been open in St. Henry since 1850. The village officially became a village in 1901.

St. Henry is located in Ohio. The United States Census Bureau says that the village covers a total area of about 1.65 square miles (4.27 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 1.60 square miles (4.14 square kilometers), is land. A small part, about 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometers), is water.

In 2010, there were 2,427 people living in St. Henry. There were 862 households, and 646 of these were families. The village had about 1,517 people per square mile (586 people per square kilometer). Most people in the village, about 99.1%, were White.
The average age of people in St. Henry was 35.2 years. About 29.5% of the residents were under 18 years old. About 15.7% were 65 years old or older. The number of males and females in the village was almost equal.
Education and Sports
St. Henry has one public high school, called St. Henry High School. The school's football team, the St. Henry Redskins, has won many state championships. They won in 1990, 1992, 1994, 1995, 2004, and 2006. They also finished second in 1996 and 1999.
The St. Henry football team is tied with Versailles and their rival Coldwater for the second-most state championships in Ohio. They are part of the Midwest Athletic Conference.
St. Henry High School also has other successful sports teams:
- Girls volleyball: Seven state championships (2011, 2004, 1995, 1994, 1990, 1987, 1985)
- Boys basketball: Four state championships (1979, 1990, 1991, 2004)
- Baseball: Three state championships (1999, 2000, 2003)
The village also has a public library, which is a part of the Mercer County District Library system.
