Stac Rhos is a mountain peak located in north-east Wales. It is considered a "top" of a nearby mountain called Pen y Boncyn Trefeilw. Stac Rhos is part of the Berwyn range, specifically an area known as the Hirnantau.

Exploring Stac Rhos: A Welsh Mountain

Stac Rhos stands at 630 metres (about 2,067 feet) above sea level. This makes it a notable point in the Welsh landscape. It is listed as a "Nuttall" and a "sub Hewitt," which are terms for certain types of hills and mountains in the UK.

What You See from the Summit

The top of Stac Rhos offers wide views of the surrounding area. While the land around it is mostly flat moorland, the views are still impressive. At the summit, you will find a small pile of stones, called a cairn. There is also a boundary stone, which helps mark the edge of different areas.

To the east of Stac Rhos, you can see Cyrniau Nod. Looking towards the south-east, you will spot Cefn Gwyntog. These nearby peaks add to the scenic beauty of the Berwyn range.
