Stefan Kraft (born on May 13, 1993) is an amazing ski jumper from Austria. He is known as one of the most successful ski jumpers ever! He has won many big titles. These include the Ski Jumping World Cup and Ski Flying World Cup three times each. He also won the Four Hills Tournament once and the Raw Air Tournament three times. Plus, he has three individual gold medals from the World Championships.

Since March 2017, Stefan Kraft has held the world record for the longest ski flying jump. He jumped an incredible 253.5 metres (832 ft)!

Stefan Kraft's Career Highlights

Stefan Kraft started his career in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in January 2012. This was in Bischofshofen, Austria. He quickly showed his talent.

In the 2014/15 season, he won the famous 2014–15 Four Hills Tournament. This was one of his first big wins. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, he won two medals. He got a silver medal in the team large hill event. He also earned a bronze medal in the individual normal hill event.

In March 2017, Stefan Kraft achieved a huge goal. He won his first overall FIS Ski Jumping World Cup title. This meant he was the best ski jumper in the world for that season!

World Cup Success

Stefan Kraft has won many titles in the World Cup series. He has won the overall World Cup title three times. He also won the Ski Flying World Cup title three times. This shows how consistently good he is at both regular ski jumping and ski flying.
