Stephen Graham (born 3 August 1973) is a talented English actor and film producer. He started his acting journey in 1990. He became widely known for his role as Andrew "Combo" Gascoigne in the film This Is England (2006).
Stephen Graham has starred in many popular movies and TV shows. Some of his famous film roles include Snatch (2000), Gangs of New York (2002), and playing Scrum in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. He also appeared in The Irishman (2019) and Boiling Point (2021).
On television, he continued his role as Combo in the This Is England '86, This Is England '88, and This Is England '90 series. His Early Life
Stephen Graham was born in Kirkby, Lancashire, England, on 3 August 1973. He grew up with his mother, who was a social worker, and his stepfather, who worked as a mechanic and later became a children's nurse. He also had a good relationship with his biological father. Stephen has a diverse family background, with a Swedish grandmother and a Jamaican grandfather on his biological father's side.
When he was eight years old, a local actor named Andrew Schofield saw him perform in a school play of Treasure Island. Andrew encouraged Stephen to pursue acting. Stephen continued his education and was introduced to the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool at age 14. He later trained to become an actor at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance.
