Stockbridge is a small village located in Ingham County, Michigan, in the United States. It is part of Stockbridge Township. The village is about 36 miles (58 km) southeast of downtown Lansing. In 2020, about 1,244 people lived there.
Geography of Stockbridge
Stockbridge covers a total area of about 1.53 square miles (3.96 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with only a tiny part being water.
A fun fact about Stockbridge is that it's home to the western start of the Lakelands Trail State Park. This trail is a great place for walking or biking. It stretches for about 26 miles (42 km) east to Hamburg Township.
