Sucker Creek is a small stream in Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Nipissing District of Northeastern Ontario. This creek is part of a larger water system that eventually flows into the Saint Lawrence River. It also forms part of the boundary for the Jocko Rivers Provincial Park.

Where Sucker Creek Flows

Sucker Creek starts at the southern end of a lake called Sucker Lake. From there, it flows for about 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) towards the southeast.

Its Journey

The creek's path goes through a boggy area, which is a type of wetland with soft, spongy ground. It then reaches the northwest side of Little Sucker Lake.

Connecting to Bigger Waters

Little Sucker Lake is connected to the Jocko River. The Jocko River then flows into the Ottawa River. Finally, the Ottawa River joins the mighty Saint Lawrence River, which carries water all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. This whole network of rivers and lakes is called a drainage basin.

Small Tributaries

Along its way, Sucker Creek has one small, unnamed stream that flows into it. This smaller stream is called a tributary, and it joins Sucker Creek from an unnamed lake.
