Tanya Moodie's Early Life and Training
Tanya Moodie was born in Ottawa, Canada. Her parents were from Jamaica. When she was 17, Tanya moved to England. She was accepted into the RADA. This is a very famous acting school. Later, she even taught there and became a council member.

Tanya Moodie started her TV career in 1994. Her first role was in the comedy show So Haunt Me. In 1996, she played Hunter in the fantasy mini-series Neverwhere. This show was created by Neil Gaiman.
Throughout the 2000s, Tanya appeared in many TV shows. From 2008 to 2009, she had a regular role in the Irish medical drama The Clinic. She also played Ella Thompson, John Watson's therapist, in the popular show Sherlock.
