He is most famous for his part in the 2001 Patriots team that won Super Bowl XXXVI. In that championship game, during the fourth quarter, the opposing team, the St. Louis Rams, were trying hard to score. The Rams' quarterback, Kurt Warner, fumbled the ball near the goal line. Tebucky Jones quickly picked it up and ran almost the entire length of the field! It would have been a 97-yard touchdown, but a penalty on another Patriots player meant the play didn't count. Even without that touchdown, the Patriots still won the Super Bowl!

In 2006, Tebucky Jones signed with the New England Patriots again. However, he was placed on injured reserve early in the season because of a leg injury. This meant he couldn't play that year. He was released by the Patriots in 2007.
