The Caribou Kitchen is a fun CITV animated TV show for children. It aired in the United Kingdom from 1995 to 1997. The series is all about a friendly caribou named Claudia. She runs her very own restaurant!

In Claudia's kitchen, many different animal friends come to eat. These include Mrs Panda, Caroline the Cow, Gerald the Giraffe, and Taffy the Tiger. The show also features the chef Abe the Anteater, and waiters Lisa the Lemur and Tom the Tortoise. Each episode was about ten minutes long. They were made to teach young viewers important lessons in a fun way.

Meet the Characters!

The show features a wonderful cast of animal characters. They all visit or work at Claudia's restaurant.

Episodes and Storylines

The Caribou Kitchen had a total of 52 episodes. Each one taught a simple lesson. The show aired in two main seasons during 1995.

Season 1 Highlights

The first season started in the summer of 1995. Episodes often focused on daily challenges in the restaurant. For example, in "Not Enough Cooks," Claudia had trouble because she didn't have enough staff. Mrs Panda tried to help, but it made things even more interesting! Another episode, "Timed Tables," showed Tom the Tortoise being slow with orders, while Lisa the Lemur was very quick. This taught about finding a balance.

Season 2 Adventures

The second season continued the fun in late 1995. These episodes also explored different themes. In "Fruit and Nuts," Cyril the Squirrel spent too much time telling jokes instead of helping out. This episode might have taught about focusing on tasks. The show often featured characters learning to work together or understand each other better.
