The eighth season of the funny TV show The Middle started on October 11, 2016. It was shown on the ABC channel in the United States. This season was made by Blackie and Blondie Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The people who created the show, DeAnn Heline and Eileen Heisler, were in charge of making it. This season had 23 episodes. The last episode aired on May 16, 2017.
The show is all about the Heck family, who are a working-class family. They live in a small, made-up town called Orson, Indiana. The mom is Frances "Frankie" Heck, played by Patricia Heaton. The dad is Michael "Mike" Heck, played by Neil Flynn. They have three kids: Axl (Charlie McDermott), Sue (Eden Sher), and Brick (Atticus Shaffer).
