Theilman is found in the middle of Wabasha County, Minnesota. It sits right where two county roads, County Road 4 and County Road 86, meet. The community is also located along the Zumbro River, which is a natural feature flowing through the area.

Just a mile southwest of Theilman, you can find parts of the Zumbro Bottoms. This area is part of the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest. It's a beautiful forest with lots of trees and nature to explore.

The History of Theilman
The community of Theilman got its name from a person named Christian Theilmann. He was the first owner of the land where the community was built.
When Was Theilman Established?
A post office was opened in Theilman in 1904. This means that people in the area could send and receive mail from this location. The post office served the community for many years, finally closing in 1996.
