Theo Green is a British composer and sound designer who has won many awards. He has received an ASCAP Award and even an Oscar! He is famous for creating music for movies like The Gambler and House at the End of the Street. He also won an Oscar for his amazing sound design in the movie Dune and was nominated for Blade Runner 2049.

About Theo Green

Theo Green grew up in Oxford, England. When he was younger, he sang in the New College Choir. This was part of the New College School. Later, he continued his studies at Abingdon School. He also went to the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.

Working on Big Movies

Theo Green has worked on many exciting films. One of his biggest achievements was working on Denis Villeneuve's movie Dune. For this film, he won an Oscar for his sound design. This project also brought him back together with famous composer Hans Zimmer. They had worked together before on Blade Runner 2049.

Hans Zimmer and Theo Green worked very closely on Dune. Green even composed a piece called "Tooth of Shai Hulud." This music was used in the early scenes of the movie on the planet Arrakis. In 2017, Theo Green was also the sound designer for Blade Runner 2049. He created extra music for that film too.

In 2014, Theo Green worked with director Rupert Wyatt for the third time. They made the movie The Gambler. This film starred actors like Mark Wahlberg and Brie Larson. Theo Green composed all the original music for this movie.

In 2009, Green wrote the music for the thriller Hush. This movie was directed by Mark Tonderai. They worked together again in 2012 on House at the End of the Street.
