Todd Anthony Bridges (born May 27, 1965) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Willis Jackson on the TV show Diff'rent Strokes. He also had a regular role as Monk on the show Everybody Hates Chris. From 2008 to 2013, Bridges was a commentator on the TV series TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest....

Early life
Todd Bridges was born on May 27, 1965, in San Francisco, California. His mother, Betty Alice Pryor, was an actress, director, and manager. His father, James Bridges Sr., was a talent agent. Todd's brother, Jimmy Bridges, and his niece, Brooke Bridges, are also actors.
Career
Television roles
Bridges appeared in several TV shows early in his career. These included The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and the important miniseries Roots. He was a regular on Fish, which was a spin-off from Barney Miller.
His most famous role was playing Willis Jackson on the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. This show aired on NBC and later ABC. He starred alongside Conrad Bain, Charlotte Rae, Dana Plato, and Gary Coleman. After Charlotte Rae passed away in 2018, Bridges became the last original main cast member still alive.
In 2002, Bridges appeared in a special called Celebrity Boxing, where he competed against his friend Vanilla Ice and won. He was also a contestant on a celebrity episode of Fear Factor in 2006. In the same year, he joined the Fox reality show Skating with Celebrities. He was eliminated early because he used roller skates instead of ice skates.
In 2007, he was part of the "mob" on the game show 1 vs. 100. He and his wife Dori also appeared on the show Decision House. He had a regular role as Monk on the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris.
Since 2008, Bridges has been a frequent commentator on TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest.... In October 2008, he was a contestant on Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling on CMT. He was part of Team Beefcake. Bridges' wrestling character was named Mr. Not So Perfect. He reached the finals but was defeated by Dennis Rodman. In 2015, Bridges hosted a game show in Las Vegas called Lovers or Losers: The Game Show. In 2022, he was a HouseGuest on the third season of Celebrity Big Brother.
Music videos
Todd Bridges has appeared in several music videos. His first was for Penny Ford's song "Change Your Wicked Ways" in 1984. He also made a brief appearance in Moby's 2002 music video for "We Are All Made of Stars" and in the video for the Black Keys' 2011 song "Howlin' for You."
Personal life
Todd Bridges has a daughter named Bo from a previous relationship. His son, Spencir Bridges, was born on July 15, 1998. Spencir is also a former child actor. He appeared in the movie Daddy Day Camp and an episode of iCarly. Spencir's mother is Todd's former wife, Dori Bridges (née Smith).
In 1998, Todd Bridges and his brother James helped save a woman's life. Stella Kline, who used a wheelchair, nearly drowned when her wheelchair rolled into a lake while she was fishing. Kline thanked them, saying, "He has a heart of gold." Bridges said, "We felt God put us there at the right time to save this lady's life, because there was no one else around."
On September 25, 2022, Todd Bridges married designer Bettijo Hirschi.
