Tramaine Brock Sr. was born on August 20, 1988. He is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL).
Brock played college football at Belhaven University and the University of Minnesota. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2010. He spent his first seven years with the 49ers. Later, he played for teams like the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, and Tennessee Titans.

Early Life and High School Football
Tramaine Brock grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi. He played football at Long Beach Senior High School. In his junior year, he showed great skill. He made 57 tackles and caught four interceptions.
College Football Career
Playing Safety at Mississippi Gulf Coast
Brock started his college career playing safety. He played for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for two years. In his second year, his team, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs, had a perfect season. They won all 12 of their games.
They even won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship. His team beat Kilgore College 62–28. That season, Brock made 59 tackles, caught 11 interceptions, and forced two fumbles.
Transfer to University of Minnesota
After two years, Brock moved to the University of Minnesota. He became a starter right away. He was the third-best player on the team for tackles, with 73. He also had one interception and forced three fumbles. After just one season, he left the University of Minnesota.
Finishing at Belhaven University
In 2009, Brock transferred to Belhaven University. This was for his senior year of college. At Belhaven, he continued to play well. He made 51 tackles and caught six interceptions. He also helped break up 10 passes.
Professional Football Career
San Francisco 49ers (2010–2016)
Starting His NFL Journey
After college, Brock was not chosen in the 2010 NFL draft. But the Buffalo Bills signed him as a free agent in April 2010. He was later released and then joined their practice squad. He moved to the active roster, then back to the practice squad.
Finally, in October 2010, the San Francisco 49ers signed him to their active roster. He played in three games that year and made four tackles.
First Interceptions in 2011
In 2011, Brock played in 11 games. He missed three games because of a hand injury. That year, he made six tackles and caught two interceptions. His first interception was against the Seattle Seahawks. His second was against the Dallas Cowboys.
Special Teams and Super Bowl XLVII
In 2012, Brock signed a new one-year deal with the 49ers. He played in all 16 games that season. He mostly played on special teams, which are plays like kickoffs and punts. He made 16 tackles. In a game against the St. Louis Rams, he forced a key fumble. This helped the 49ers score and win the game.
At the end of the 2012 season, Brock and the 49ers played in Super Bowl XLVII. He helped out on special teams. However, the 49ers lost to the Baltimore Ravens 34–31.
Becoming a Starter in 2013
In 2013, Brock signed a new deal to stay with the 49ers. He played in all 16 regular-season games. He started seven of those games. He also started all three playoff games. This was his best year for interceptions, with five. He also made 35 tackles.
On October 6, 2013, Brock scored his first touchdown. He caught an interception from quarterback Matt Schaub and ran it back for a score. He even got a second interception in that same game. This was his first game with more than one interception. After this game, he was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Brock became a full-time starting cornerback later in the season. He signed a four-year contract extension with the 49ers.
Brock was part of a famous play in Week 16. It was a Monday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons were trying to score late in the game. Brock deflected a pass from Matt Ryan. His teammate, NaVorro Bowman, caught the deflected ball. Bowman ran it 89 yards for a touchdown, which sealed the win for the 49ers. Brock also had an interception at the very end of the game.
Injury in 2014
The 2014 season was tough for Brock and the 49ers. He had a toe injury for most of the season. He only played in three games and made seven tackles.

In 2015, Brock started 15 games for the 49ers. He made 53 tackles and caught three interceptions. He also broke up 11 passes.
In the first game of the season, he had an interception against the Minnesota Vikings. He also caught an interception against the New York Giants in Week 5. In Week 8, he picked off quarterback Russell Wilson.
Playing All Games in 2016

Minnesota Vikings (2017)
On September 1, 2017, Brock was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. He played in 11 regular-season games and two playoff games with the Vikings. He made six tackles.
Denver Broncos (2018)
On March 14, 2018, Brock signed a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos. He played in 12 games and started five of them. He made 23 tackles and broke up six passes.
Arizona Cardinals (2019)
On April 2, 2019, Brock signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He started the season as a main cornerback. He played in 10 games and started seven before being released in December 2019.
