Trevon Coley (born July 13, 1994) is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive end, which is a position on the defense that tries to stop the other team's offense. Trevon played college football for Florida Atlantic University. He has also played for several teams in the NFL, including the Washington Redskins, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Jets.

Trevon Coley's Early Life and High School Football
Trevon Coley grew up in Miramar, Florida. He played high school football for the Patriots team at Miramar High School. In his senior year, 2011, he was recognized as Second Team All-State. This means he was one of the best players in the state for his position.
College Football Career at Florida Atlantic
After high school, Trevon went to Florida Atlantic University. He played for their football team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, he was named First Team All-Conference USA. This is a big honor, showing he was one of the top players in his college conference.
He was also chosen as the team captain and the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2015. Trevon started every game he played in college, which was 48 games in total. He studied communication while at Florida Atlantic. After his college career, he played in the 2016 East–West Shrine Game, which is a game where top college players showcase their skills for professional teams.
Starting His Professional Football Journey
Before the 2016 NFL draft, experts looked at Trevon's skills. NFLDraftScout.com rated him as the 33rd best defensive tackle. An expert named Lance Zierlein thought Trevon might not be drafted. Playing for NFL Teams
Even though he wasn't drafted, Trevon signed with the Baltimore Ravens in May 2016. He was later released by the Ravens.
Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns
In November 2016, Trevon joined the practice squad of the Washington Redskins. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but aren't on the main roster. He was released by the Redskins in December.
Soon after, in December 2016, Trevon signed with the Cleveland Browns' practice squad. He later signed a full contract with the Browns.
In 2017, during a game against the Baltimore Ravens, Trevon recovered a fumble. A fumble is when a player drops the ball. He played in 15 games that season. He made 41 tackles, which means he stopped the opposing player with the ball. He also had two sacks, which is when a defensive player tackles the opposing quarterback behind the line of scrimmage.
In 2018, Trevon played in all 16 games for the Browns and started 14 of them. In one game, he scored a safety against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
