Troisdorf is a town in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis (district) in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located about 22 kilometers (14 miles) south of the big city of Cologne. It is also 13 kilometers (8 miles) northeast of Bonn, which used to be the capital of West Germany.
