Trumaine Monte Johnson (born January 1, 1990) is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). A cornerback is a defensive player who tries to stop passes and tackle offensive players. Trumaine Johnson played college football for the Montana Grizzlies. The St. Louis Rams chose him in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft.

Trumaine Johnson grew up in Stockton, California. He went to Edison High School. There, he played football as a wide receiver.

College Football Career

In 2008, Johnson began playing college football for the Montana Grizzlies. He was a starting cornerback as a true freshman, which means he played a lot in his first year. He played in 13 out of 14 games. He made 54 tackles, 12 pass deflections, and two interceptions.
