Tías is a lively town and a municipality located in the southern part of Lanzarote. This island is part of the Canary Islands, a group of Spanish islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Tías is about 4 kilometers from the coast and 10 kilometers west of Arrecife, the island's capital.

This municipality is home to Puerto del Carmen, which is Lanzarote's biggest tourist spot. It was also where the very first hotels on the island were built. Other smaller towns in the Tías area include Mácher, La Asomada, Conil, and Masdache.
