Uhland (say "YOO-lənd") is a small city in Texas, a state in the United States. It is located across two different areas called counties: Caldwell County and Hays County.
In 2020, about 1,588 people lived in Uhland. This was a big jump from 2010, when only 1,014 people lived there! The city got its name from a German poet named Ludwig Uhland. Like its nearby city, Niederwald, Uhland was first settled by people from Germany in the 1800s. This area of central Texas is sometimes called the "Texas-German belt" because so many German families moved there.
