Untereggen is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of St. Gallen. Untereggen is part of the Rorschach area, which is known as a Wahlkreis or constituency.

Untereggen covers an area of about 7.1 square kilometers (about 2.7 square miles). A large part of this land is used for farming, making up about 50% of the area. Forests cover another big portion, around 43%. The rest of the land is used for buildings and roads, or it includes natural features like rivers.

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms for Untereggen has a special design. It shows a black crow standing on three red hills. The background is silver. This design is called Argent a Crow Sable statant on Coupeaux Gules in heraldry.
