What is Utah Valley Like?
Utah Valley has a large, shallow freshwater lake called Utah Lake right in its middle. All the rivers in the valley flow into Utah Lake. From there, the water goes into the Jordan River, which flows north. This river then travels through a narrow gap in the Traverse Mountains called the Jordan Narrows. This gap leads to the Salt Lake Valley.
The way Utah Valley is shaped, combined with cars and other things that burn fuel, can sometimes lead to poor air quality.
