Valley View is a small village in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the United States. It is home to 1,897 people, according to the 2020 census. Valley View is a suburb of Cleveland, which means it is a smaller town located near a big city. It is part of the larger Cleveland metropolitan area.
The name Valley View comes from the beautiful Cuyahoga River valley that runs through the area. The village is special because it includes parts of the amazing Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the historic Ohio and Erie Canal. History of Valley View
Valley View became its own village in 1919. Before that, it was part of Independence, Ohio. The people of Valley View decided to form their own village after they disagreed with Independence about where the local schools should be built.
