Vinzel is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Nyon District in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It is known for its beautiful vineyards.

Geography of Vinzel
Vinzel covers an area of about 1.1 square kilometers (0.4 square miles). A large part of this land, about 67%, is used for farming. Forests cover about 19.3% of the area. The remaining 12.8% is made up of buildings and roads where people live and travel.
Most of the farming land, about 21.1%, is used for growing grapes in vineyards. This shows how important wine production is to Vinzel. The town used to be part of the Rolle District until 2006. After that, it became part of the Nyon District.
