Waltalingen was a small town in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland. It was located in the Andelfingen district. On January 1, 2019, Waltalingen joined with two other towns, Oberstammheim and Unterstammheim, to form a new, larger town called Stammheim. So, Waltalingen is no longer its own separate municipality.

Waltalingen covered an area of about 7.3 square kilometers (about 2.8 square miles). Most of its land, about 62.6%, was used for farming. A good portion, 28%, was covered by forests. The rest of the land included buildings and roads (8.8%), with a tiny part (0.5%) being non-productive, like rivers.
