Weert is a city and a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands. It is located in the western part of the province of Limburg. Weert is an important place for travel. It lies on the main railway line between Eindhoven and Maastricht. It is also next to the A2 motorway and the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal.
