Wema Isaac Sepetu (born on September 28, 1990) is a famous actress from Tanzania. She also won the title of Miss Tanzania in 2006. After winning, she represented her country, Tanzania, at the Miss World 2006 competition held in Poland.

Early Life and Education
Wema Sepetu comes from a family with a background in diplomacy. Her father was the late Abraham Sepetu. She is the youngest of four children in her family.
Wema went to the Academic International School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for her primary, secondary, and high school education. Later, she went to Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Malaysia. She studied international business there for one year. However, she decided to leave university to focus on her acting career.
Becoming Miss Tanzania and Competing in Miss World
In 2006, Wema Sepetu won the important title of Miss Tanzania. This made her the most beautiful woman in Tanzania that year.
After her win, Wema traveled to Warsaw, Poland. She went there to take part in the Miss World 2006 contest. This competition brings together beauty queens from all over the world.
Wema Sepetu's Career
Acting Journey
Wema Sepetu began her journey in the movie industry with help from the late Steven Kanumba. She made her first movie appearance in a film called A Point of No Return. In this movie, she played the main character, Dina. Dina is a young woman who is made to marry someone she does not choose.
After her first movie, Sepetu acted in many other films. Some of these popular movies include Family Tears, Red Valentine, and White Maria. These roles helped her become one of the most well-known actresses in Tanzania. She has appeared in more than 20 movies throughout her career.
In 2011, she produced a movie called Superstar. This film was about her life. The movie was officially launched in 2012 at the Kilimanjaro Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar Es Salaam. Many people attended the launch, including the famous actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde from Nigeria. However, the movie has not yet been released to the public. Sepetu has said she is still looking for a company to distribute it.
Sepetu continued to act in more movies like Basilisa, It Was Not Me, House Boy, and Madame.
In 2014, she worked with Van Vicker, an actor from Ghana. They produced a movie together called Day After Death. Sepetu and Van Vicker both starred in this film. It was planned to be released in 2015, but it has also faced delays and is not yet out.
From 2015 to 2016, Sepetu appeared in films such as Family, Mapenzi Yamerogwa, and Chungu Cha Tatu.
In 2017, she returned with a new film called Heaven Sent. She produced this movie and played the main role alongside Salim Ahmed (Gabo). The movie was launched at Century Cinemax Mlimani City in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. People could buy the movie through her mobile app, Wema App. Heaven Sent received seven nominations at the 2018 Sinema Zetu International Film Festival Awards. Sepetu won the Best Actress award, and the movie won the People's Choice award.
Endless Fame Production Company
In 2013, Wema Sepetu started her own company called Endless Fame Production. This company focuses on making movies and managing artists. They have worked with Tanzanian musicians like Mirror and Ally Luna.
Endless Fame Production has created several movies. These include Superstar, Unexpected, Day After Death, Family, and Heaven Sent.
