Westbrookville is a small community called a hamlet in New York. It is located in the town of Deerpark. This area is part of Orange County, New York. You can find Westbrookville along US 209.

Westbrookville was named after an early settler. His name was Dirck Van Keuren Westbrook. A very old building, Fort Westbrook, is still standing today. This fort dates back to the American Revolution. This was a big war when the United States became independent.

From 1900 to 1940, government records listed Westbrookville as part of Mamakating. This area is in Sullivan County. Westbrookville is located between the towns of Port Jervis and Wurtsboro. It is also close to the borders of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Westbrookville is part of the Port Jervis City School District. The hamlet has many small businesses. It also has the Westbrookville Cemetery. In the past, a company called J. E. Ashworth & Sons had a blanket mill here. A "mill" is a factory where things are made.
