Wesley Tyler Glass (born October 26, 1992), known as Wheezy, is an American music producer and songwriter. He is famous for his special sound tag, "Wheezy Outta Here!" This tag is often said by the rapper Future. Wheezy has helped create many popular songs and albums for big names in hip hop music.

He has produced music for artists like Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Future, Nav, 21 Savage, Gunna, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, King Von and Lil Durk. Wheezy became very well-known in the late 2010s. He produced "Yes Indeed" by Lil Baby and "Going Bad" by Meek Mill. Both of these songs reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.

Wheezy also produced all the songs on Gunna's first EP (Extended Play), Drip or Drown (2017). He later worked as an executive producer for Gunna's first two studio albums, Drip or Drown 2 (2019) and Wunna (2020). He produced most of the songs on both albums.

Early Life and Music Start

Wesley Tyler Glass was born on October 26, 1992. He was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where his mom was from. His dad was from Atlanta, Georgia. Wesley traveled between these two places before settling in Atlanta.

Glass started making beats when he was 15 years old. He made them for his brother, who was a rapper named TG Montana. His brother taught him how to use a music software called FL Studio. After that, he worked with Shad da God, who was part of the group Rich Kidz. Wheezy has also received advice from experienced producers. Some of these include Metro Boomin, Southside, Sonny Digital and Lex Luger. He has even had the chance to work with them.

Music Style and Inspirations

The music magazine The Fader has described Wheezy's music style. They said his productions are "spacious and spare," meaning they sound open and not too busy. They also gave him credit for the clear and unique sound on albums like Barter 6 (2015) and the Slime Season series.

Wheezy uses FL Studio to make his music. He also uses an M-Audio Oxygen 88 keyboard. He often uses samples, which are small pieces of sound from other recordings. He especially likes to use older, "vintage" sounds. Wheezy says he "blends" his snare drum sounds. He often uses a software tool called VST Purity, which he has used since he first started producing.

Glass has been inspired by other music producers. These include Drumma Boy, Shawty Redd, DJ Toomp, and WondaGurl. You can often tell his songs by his special producer tag, "Wheezy outta here!"
