Willie Harvey Jr. (born January 9, 1996) is an American professional football player. He plays as a linebacker for the St. Louis Battlehawks in the United Football League (UFL). Before joining the UFL, he played college football at Iowa State. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

Early Life and High School Football
Willie Harvey Jr. grew up in Hastings, Florida. He went to Pedro Menendez High School. There, he was a star player on the football team. In his senior year, he played as a linebacker. He made 131 tackles, which means he stopped the opposing team's players many times. He was also recognized as one of the best players in his state.
College Football Career
Harvey played college football for the Iowa State Cyclones. He played from 2014 to 2018. He played in different linebacker positions.
After his first year, he started playing regularly. In his second year, he was one of the team's top tacklers. He also made many tackles for loss and sacks. A "tackle for loss" means stopping a player behind their starting line. A "sack" means tackling the quarterback before they can throw the ball.
He continued to play well in his junior and senior years. He was recognized as an "Honorable Mention All-Big 12" player three times. This means he was one of the best players in the Big 12 Conference. After college, he was invited to play in a special game for top college players.

Time with the Cleveland Browns

In 2022, Harvey was drafted by the St. Louis BattleHawks in the XFL. The XFL is another professional football league. He played for them in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, the XFL became part of the UFL. Harvey was named to the 2024 All-UFL team. This means he was one of the best players in the league that year. He was also the UFL's leader in tackles for 2024.
Short Time with the Dallas Cowboys
In June 2024, Harvey signed with the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. However, he was later waived by the team in August.

In January 2025, Willie Harvey Jr. re-signed with the St. Louis BattleHawks. He continues to play for them in the UFL.
