Wulingyuan (Chinese: 武陵源) is an amazing place in south-central China. It is located in Hunan Province. This area is so special that UNESCO has named it a World Heritage Site.
The area is famous for its more than 3,000 tall pillars and peaks made of a type of rock called sandstone. Many of these rock formations are over 200 meters (about 650 feet) high! Imagine looking up at these giant stone towers.

Wulingyuan also has about 40 caves. Many of these caves have cool rock formations called calcite deposits. There are even two natural bridges made of rock. Their names are Xianrenqiao, which means "Bridge of the Immortals," and Tianqiashengkong, meaning "Bridge Across the Sky."
