Yamna Carolina Lobos Astorga (born February 26, 1983) is a famous Chilean dancer, television host, and actress. She is well-known for her appearances on popular TV shows in Chile, especially Rojo fama contrafama. Yamna has had a long career in entertainment, starting as a child dancer and later becoming a beloved TV personality.

Early Life and Dance Beginnings
Yamna Lobos started dancing at a very young age. Between the ages of 10 and 15, she was part of the Ballet Folclórico de Chile (BAFOCHI). This dance group traveled all over the world. Yamna got to visit many countries, including France, Germany, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Spain, and Israel. This was an amazing experience for her.
Television Career Highlights
Starting in TV Shows
Yamna began her television journey in 2000. She joined the "Generation 2000" part of the "Venga Conmigo" show on Channel 13. The next year, in 2001, she moved to the "Team Mekano" on Mega.
Rising to Fame on Rojo
In 2002, Yamna joined the TVN show Rojo fama contrafama. This is where she became very popular. She reached third place among the first group of artists, being the only girl among the finalists. She then became a regular dancer on the show, part of a group called the "Clan Rojo."
In 2003, Yamna did several photo shoots for the TVN website. These photos were incredibly popular, breaking records for how many people viewed them online. She received millions of visits, showing how much the public loved her.
Most Popular Dancer and Music
On December 22, 2005, Yamna was named the "Most Popular" artist from Rojo ever. She won with a huge number of votes from the public. She received more than double the votes of the second-place winner.
In the same year, Yamna Lobos and another dancer, Maura Rivera, recorded a song called "La Cocotera." This song was very popular during the summer of 2005. It even helped them earn a gold disc award! Yamna also had her own part on the TVN show "Noche de Juegos," called "The Department of Yamna Lobos."
Queen of Festivals
In September 2006, Yamna Lobos was chosen as the Queen of the Pampilla Festival. She won over the voters with her fun campaign, which included concerts. She was crowned queen with over 13,700 votes.
In early 2008, she also became the queen of the "Festival de la leche y la carne" in Osorno. She won by a large number of votes.
New Channels and Hosting Roles
In 2007, Yamna traveled internationally to Miami and Australia with other "Clan Rojo" members. She went to Miami to become a certified Zumba trainer.
In April 2008, Yamna signed with Chilevisión. She appeared on shows like "Teatro en Chilevisión," "Sin Verguenza," and "Yingo." On "Yingo," she was a judge and also performed music. In October 2008, she released her song "Acercate a Mí."
On June 24, 2010, Yamna left "Yingo" because she didn't feel comfortable as a judge. She then joined the TV series "Don Diablo." After leaving "Yingo," she became a host for two shows on the cable TV channel Bang TV. She hosted "Danz," where she taught dance steps, and "Soundtrax," an interview show about urban music. In 2012, she also hosted "Todo suena" on the same channel.
