Yznaga is found in the northwest part of Cameron County. It is located at coordinates 26°18′45″N 97°49′4″W / 26.31250°N 97.81778°W. To the north, it shares a border with Sebastian, which is in Willacy County. Yznaga is about 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Harlingen and 14 miles (23 km) south of Raymondville.
