Zachary Michael King (born February 4, 1990) is an American internet personality from Los Angeles. He is famous for his "magic vines." These are short videos that are digitally edited. They make it look like he is doing real magic. He calls his videos "digital sleight of hand."
Zach started sharing videos on YouTube in 2008. In 2013, he began posting videos on Vine. Vine was a platform for short, six-second looping clips. King posted his first video to TikTok (then called musical.ly) in 2016. As of March 2025, he has over 80 million followers on TikTok.
In 2010, King won a contest for a Hewlett-Packard commercial. This earned him a trip to the London Film Festival. In 2013, YouTube chose him for their NextUp Creators program. This program helps young video makers. In 2015, King and his wife, Rachel Holm, were on the TV show The Amazing Race. They finished in sixth place.

In 2011, he posted a video called Jedi Kittens on YouTube. He made it with a college friend. The video showed two kittens fighting with lightsabers. It got over a million views in just three days. As of March 2025, it has over 25 million views. A second video, Jedi Kittens Strike Back, got over 10 million views. A third video, Jedi Kittens – The Force Awakens, has over 28 million views.
In May 2013, YouTube named him one of the 25 most promising young filmmakers in America. YouTube gave King $35,000 and a trip to New York City. This was part of their Next Up Creators contest. As of May 2025, his YouTube channel has 42 million subscribers. His 775 videos have 21.4 billion views.
King also posted a short video on YouTube Shorts. This video gained over 1.2 billion views.
Vine Videos
King joined Vine on September 9, 2013. He decided to make one Vine video every day for a month. His first few Vines were very popular. So, he kept making and posting new ones.
He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on January 29, 2014. He made several Vines with the show's team. King used to make Vine videos for a living. He worked from his garage. He has said he would like to direct feature films in the future. He prefers action-adventure movies.

Writing Books
Zach King started writing books in 2016. He has two different series of children's books. Three books are about the game Minecraft. He also wrote a trilogy of books about his own life in a fantasy style.
King's first book, My Minecraft Escapades, was published on January 21, 2016. His second book, Minecraft Mathematicians, came out on March 19, 2016. His third Minecraft book, A Minecraft Wish Granted, was published on April 10, 2016.

Personal Life
When King was seven, his family became Christian. He says this was one of the "greatest things" in his life. He is a strong Christian. He tries to read parts of the Bible every morning. He also talks about his faith and includes it in his videos. King went to Biola University, which is a Christian university. He has led youth groups at Christian camps.
King asked his girlfriend, Rachel Holm, to marry him. He pretended it was a video ad for one of her brands. They got married in 2014. In 2016, they competed on The Amazing Race 28 and finished in 6th place.
Both King and his wife have adopted siblings. This inspired Rachel to work with adoption and foster care. The couple has fostered a few children. They also have an adopted son named Mason and a biological son named Liam. In 2023, they announced on YouTube that they had another baby, a girl named Emerson.
