Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade (born February 4, 2002) is an American professional basketball player. He last played for the Cape Town Tigers in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Zaire is the oldest child of Hall of Fame basketball player Dwyane Wade.

Zaire Wade's Basketball Journey
Zaire Wade was born on February 4, 2002, in Chicago, Illinois. His father, Dwyane Wade, was a basketball player for the Marquette Golden Eagles at the time. Zaire grew up in Chicago and Miami. His dad played most of his NBA career in Miami.
Playing in High School
For his first year of high school, Zaire played basketball at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago. His cousin, Dahveon Morris, was also on the team. They both played on the school's freshman team.
For his next two years, Zaire played basketball at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida. In May 2019, it was announced that Zaire would move to Sierra Canyon School for his senior year. Sierra Canyon is a private school in Chatsworth, California.
After high school, Zaire went to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Brewster Academy has a very strong basketball program. This helped Zaire get more attention from college basketball coaches. He received offers for scholarships from several colleges. These included DePaul, Nebraska, Rhode Island, and Toledo. However, Zaire decided to become a professional player instead of going to college.
Professional Basketball Career
Playing for the Salt Lake City Stars
On October 23, 2021, Zaire Wade was chosen by the Salt Lake City Stars in the 2021 NBA G League draft. The G League is like a development league for the NBA. Players often play there to improve their skills.
In March 2022, Zaire was placed on the injured list. He then had a season-ending injury. This meant he could not play for the rest of that year.
Joining the Cape Town Tigers
On February 4, 2023, Zaire signed with the Cape Town Tigers. This team plays in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The BAL is a professional basketball league in Africa.
On May 4, Zaire scored his career-high of 17 points. This happened during a game where the Tigers lost to Ferroviário da Beira. This game was part of the Nile Conference.
On April 13, 2024, Zaire Wade signed with the Macau Black Bears. This team plays in The Asian Tournament (TAT).
