Úrsula Corberó Delgado (born August 11, 1989) is a Spanish actress. She became well-known in Spain for playing Ruth Gómez in the teen drama series Física o Química (2008–2010). She also played Margarita de Austria in the historical series Isabel (2014) and Marta in the comedy film Girl's Night Out (2015). Úrsula became famous around the world for her role as Tokyo in the crime drama series Money Heist (2017–2021). She also made her first Hollywood movie appearance in the superhero film Snake Eyes (2021).

Early life and acting dreams
Úrsula Corberó Delgado was born on August 11, 1989, in Barcelona, Spain. She grew up in Sant Pere de Vilamajor with her parents, Pedro Corberó and Esther Delgado. Her father was a carpenter and her mother was a shopkeeper. Úrsula also has one sister named Mónica.
When she was just six years old, Úrsula knew she wanted to be an actress. She started acting in commercials. At 13, she got her first acting part. She took acting classes and also learned flamenco and jazz dance. After finishing her studies, she moved to Madrid to work on the TV series Física o Química.
Úrsula's acting career
Úrsula's first TV role was Maria in Mirall Trencat in 2002. She then appeared in Ventdelplà (2005–2006) and Cuenta atrás (2007). In 2008, she played Manuela Portillo in El Internado. That same year, she started working on the TV series Física o química as Ruth Gomez. Her character faced a health challenge, and Úrsula received praise for her acting.
After Física o Química, Úrsula got a main role in the drama series 14 de abril. La República in 2011. The second season of this show was delayed for a long time before it finally aired in 2018. In 2011, she also starred in the horror movie XP3D.
In 2012, Úrsula filmed the TV movie Los días de gloria, which was also delayed. She then joined the series Gran Reserva as Julia Cortazar. She also appeared in the Catalan TV movie Volare and the horror film Afterparty. Later that year, she traveled to Colombia to film Crimen con vista al Mar.
In 2013, Úrsula starred in the comedy ¿Quién mató a Bambi?. This movie was liked by both critics and the public. She also lent her voice to the character Sam in the animated movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.
In 2014, Úrsula played Margarita de Austria in the popular historical series Isabel. That year, she received the 'Untameable Award' at the Sitges Film Festival for her career. Men's Health magazine also named her 'Woman of the Year'.
In 2015, Úrsula filmed La Dama Velata in Italy. She also played Natalia de Figueroa y Martorell in the Spanish comedy show Anclados. In March 2015, she starred as Nadia in Perdiendo el Norte. She also received the 'Ciudad de Alicante Award' to support young Spanish actors. In December 2015, she got a main role in the thriller series La Embajada. This series was shown at Cannes and bought by an American TV network.
Úrsula also had her first main movie role in the comedy Cómo sobrevivir a una despedida in 2015. This film was shown at the Málaga Film Festival.
In 2016, she played Margarita de Austria again in the movie La corona partida. This film continued the stories from the series Isabel. She also voiced Katie in the animated movie The Secret Life of Pets.
International success with Money Heist
In 2017, Úrsula Corberó got a main role in the TV series La Casa de Papel (Money Heist). She played Tokyo, who also narrates the story. Tokyo is a runaway robber chosen by the Professor for his big plan. The series became a huge hit worldwide after Netflix made it available. Úrsula received great reviews for her role, which many saw as a turning point in her career. She was nominated for 'Best Actress in a TV Series' at the Premios Feroz and won an Atv Award for 'Best Actress'. The series won 'Best Drama Series' at the 46th International Emmy Awards.
Later in 2017, Úrsula took on her first main dramatic movie role in The Tree of Blood, a thriller. She also worked with director Isabel Coixet on the movie Proyecto Tiempo: La Llave.
In 2018, she had her first English-speaking role in the American crime series Snatch. She starred alongside actors Rupert Grint and Luke Pasqualino. In 2019, she appeared as herself in the Spanish comedy series Paquita Salas.

In 2020, she appeared in the music video for Un Día (One Day), a song by J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and Tainy.
In late 2019, it was announced that Úrsula would play the villain the Baroness in Snake Eyes. This film is part of the G.I. Joe movie series. The movie was released in July 2021.
In April 2022, Úrsula joined the cast of the Netflix action film Lift, which premiered in January 2023. In September 2022, she was announced as the lead in the Netflix miniseries Burning Body (El cuerpo en llamas). She played Rosa Peral, a police agent in a story based on real events. Úrsula won an Ondas Award for 'Best Actress in a TV Series' for her performance.
In February 2024, Úrsula joined the new series The Day of the Jackal. In September 2024, she starred in the comedy thriller Kill the Jockey, which premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Charity work and activism
Úrsula Corberó is a feminist, which means she believes in equal rights for women.
She is also a co-founder of Ymas, a company that helps people get special access to film premieres and behind-the-scenes content.
Úrsula has supported several campaigns to raise awareness about breast cancer. She also works with the Atresmedia Foundation to help children with cancer.
She uses her voice to talk about climate change. In 2020, she joined the '#REInventaElSistema' campaign by Greenpeace to raise awareness about climate change after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In July 2023, Úrsula became the first global ambassador for Save the Children. This international organization works to improve the lives of children around the world.
Personal life
Úrsula Corberó has been in a relationship with Argentine actor Chino Darín since 2016. They met while working on the TV series The Embassy.
