The 2015–16 Premier League was a super exciting football season in England! It was the 24th time this big competition happened. The season ran from August 8, 2015, to May 17, 2016.
The biggest surprise was Leicester City winning the title! Many people thought they had no chance. They were led by their manager, Claudio Ranieri. Leicester City finished 10 points ahead of Arsenal, who came in second place. This was Leicester City's first-ever top English league title.
The season was supposed to end on May 15. However, it finished two days later, on May 17. This was because Manchester United's last home game against A.F.C. Bournemouth had to be played later.
