Adrian Charles Hamilton (born November 29, 1987) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Ravens. He first joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2012. Adrian also played for the Portland Thunder in the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at Prairie View A&M University.

Early Life and High School Football
Adrian Hamilton grew up in Dallas, Texas. He went to David W. Carter High School. There, he was a talented player on the football team. He played both as a linebacker and a defensive end.
In his last two years of high school, Adrian made a lot of big plays. He had 155 tackles and 12 sacks. He also hurried the opposing quarterback 29 times. Adrian forced 9 fumbles and even returned one fumble for a touchdown.
College Football Journey
Adrian started his college football career at Oklahoma State University in 2006. He faced some academic challenges there. In 2007, he joined Texas Tech University as a walk-on player. He played in 6 games as a backup during his sophomore year. He recorded 4 tackles, with one tackle for a loss.
In 2008, Adrian left the team due to a team rule. He then focused on his studies at Dallas County Community College. He didn't play football during this time.
In 2010, Adrian transferred to Prairie View A&M. This school is part of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). As a junior, he was a backup defensive end. He made 27 tackles and had 5½ sacks. He also blocked a punt, which was returned for a touchdown.
His senior year in 2011 was amazing. Adrian started 9 out of 11 games. He broke the FCS record for sacks in a single season with 22! He also led his team with 81 tackles. Adrian was named the co-Defensive Player of the Year for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). He was also chosen for the All-SWAC defensive first-team. The FCS also recognized him as their Defensive Player of the Year in 2011.
Professional Football Career
Dallas Cowboys
After college, the Dallas Cowboys signed Adrian Hamilton in 2012. He joined them as an undrafted free agent. During training camp, he had some minor injuries to his knee and wrist. In a preseason game, he got a sack against the St. Louis Rams. The Cowboys released him before the regular season started.
Baltimore Ravens
On September 2, 2012, Adrian joined the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Later that year, on December 22, he was moved to the main team roster. Adrian played in the last two regular season games for the Ravens. He made one tackle. That season, the Ravens went on to win Super Bowl XLVII! Adrian was part of the championship team, though he didn't play in the postseason games.
In 2013, he was placed on the injured reserve list. This meant he couldn't play due to an injury. He was later released by the Ravens in 2014.
Other Teams
Adrian continued his football journey with several other teams. In 2014, he signed with the San Diego Chargers, but was released before the season began.
In 2015, he played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He also joined the Portland Thunder in the Arena Football League (AFL). For the Thunder, he played in 5 games, making 12 tackles and one sack. He then briefly returned to the CFL with the Ottawa RedBlacks.
Adrian also played for the Texas Revolution in the Champions Indoor Football league in 2017.
