Adrien Rabiot was born in Saint-Maurice, Val-de-Marne, France. He started playing youth football for several teams. These included two periods at Créteil and a few months at Manchester City. On 2 July 2012, he signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Rabiot joined the senior team under manager Carlo Ancelotti for the 2012–13 season. He played his first game in Ligue 1 on 26 August, which was a 0–0 draw against Bordeaux. He also made his UEFA Champions League debut in November 2012.

In January 2013, he was loaned to Toulouse. He scored his first professional goal for Toulouse on 9 March 2013. This goal was the only one in their win against Brest.

After returning to PSG, Rabiot helped the team win back-to-back league titles. These wins were from 2013 to 2015. His mother, Véronique, helped him with contract discussions during this time. He received a red card after two yellow cards in the opening game of the 2015–16 season.

Rabiot scored his first goal in European competition on 25 November 2015. This was during a 5–0 Champions League group win against Malmö. He scored again in the Champions League against Chelsea in March 2016. A few days later, he scored in a big 9–0 win against Troyes. This victory secured the league title for PSG with many games left.

On 23 April 2016, Rabiot received a red card in the Coupe de la Ligue final. PSG still won the match 2–1 against Lille. Over the next two seasons, he scored four goals in 60 games. He also helped PSG win the national championship in 2017–18.

In late 2018, Rabiot faced challenges with his club regarding his contract. He was asked to train separately for a period. In March 2019, he faced disciplinary action from his club for actions that went against team rules, including an incident after a match.

Rabiot made his senior debut for France on 15 November 2016. This was in a 0–0 friendly draw against Ivory Coast. He made a personal decision not to be on the standby list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad, which led to some public discussion.

On 18 May 2021, Rabiot was included in France's squad for UEFA Euro 2020. He played in several matches, including as a left wing-back. France was eliminated in a penalty shoot-out after a 3–3 draw against Switzerland.

How He Plays

He is a complete player, I have rarely seen someone so strong both physically and technically.

Adrien Rabiot is a tall, strong, and elegant left-footed midfielder. He combines good technique with impressive physical abilities. He was seen as a very promising player when he was younger.

He is known for being active and hard-working on the field. He is quick with the ball and makes smart runs into the penalty box. Rabiot is also a calm passer and has good dribbling skills. This helps him create chances for his teammates.

He is a modern, well-rounded, and flexible player with good defensive skills. Rabiot can play in many different midfield roles. These include a deep defensive role, a box-to-box midfielder, or even on the right side of the field. He usually plays as a left-sided central midfielder. His former manager, Massimiliano Allegri, sometimes used him as a left winger. Despite his talent, he has sometimes faced comments about his attitude or behavior off the field.
