Ahmad Bradshaw (born March 19, 1986) is a former professional football player. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). Bradshaw played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd. The New York Giants picked him in the 2007 NFL draft. He won two Super Bowl championships with the Giants. These wins were in XLII and XLVI. Both times, the Giants beat the New England Patriots. Bradshaw was the top rusher in both Super Bowls. This made him one of only eight running backs in NFL history to lead in rushing in two Super Bowls.

Ahmad Bradshaw's Early Life and High School Sports
Ahmad Bradshaw was born in Bluefield, Virginia. He played football, basketball, and ran track at Graham High School. Experts ranked him as a top player in Virginia. He was also a highly-rated cornerback prospect.
High School Football Achievements
Bradshaw was amazing in high school football. As a junior, he ran for 2,282 yards and scored 27 touchdowns. In his senior year, he gained 2,557 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns. Overall, he had 5,265 yards and 92 touchdowns in his high school career. He averaged almost ten yards every time he carried the ball. He earned All-Virginia honors for his great play. He was also named the VHSL AA Player of the Year.
Track and Field Skills
Bradshaw also showed his speed on the track team. He competed in sprints and jumping events. He ran the 55 meters in 6.75 seconds. He also ran the 100 meters in 11.34 seconds. In jumping, his best high jump was 1.80 meters.
After high school, Bradshaw first planned to play for the University of Virginia. However, he later enrolled at Marshall University. His time at Marshall was very successful. He was even inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame.

Freshman Season (2004) at Marshall
In 2004, Bradshaw's first year, he rushed for 462 yards. He scored three touchdowns on the ground. He also caught 14 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. He missed two games due to an ankle injury. He had a great game against Western Michigan. He rushed for 145 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown run. He also had a 75-yard touchdown catch against Kansas State University.
Sophomore Season (2005) Highlights
As a sophomore in 2005, Bradshaw rushed for 997 yards. He gained 1,382 total yards from rushing and receiving. He was named a second-team All-Conference USA player. He led his team in both rushing and receiving yards. He rushed for 133 yards against the University of Texas at El Paso. The next week, he ran for 150 yards against Southern Miss. His best game was against East Carolina. He rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught eight passes for 51 yards.
Junior Season (2006) Success
Bradshaw's best college season was in 2006. He rushed for 1,523 yards and scored 19 touchdowns. He also had 129 receiving yards and two scores. He was one of the top rushers in the nation. In a game against Hofstra, he ran for 152 yards and four touchdowns. He gained 181 yards against the University of Central Florida. He had two games with over 200 rushing yards. Ahmad Bradshaw's Professional NFL Career
Ahmad Bradshaw was drafted into the NFL in 2007. He played for the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts.
Joining the New York Giants (2007-2012)
The New York Giants picked Bradshaw in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL draft. He was the 250th player chosen overall.
Rookie Season and Super Bowl XLII Win (2007)
In his first NFL season, Bradshaw started as a kickoff returner. He later got more chances to run the ball. This happened because other players were injured or not playing well. On December 23, 2007, he scored his first NFL touchdown. It was an amazing 88-yard run against the Buffalo Bills. This was one of the longest runs in Giants history. He finished that game with 151 rushing yards.
Bradshaw played a key role in the Giants' playoff run. He helped them win Super Bowl XLII. In that game, the Giants beat the undefeated New England Patriots 17-14. Bradshaw gained 45 yards, which was the most among all running backs. He also recovered a fumble by quarterback Eli Manning.
Growing Role with the Giants (2008-2010)
In 2008, Bradshaw averaged 6.7 yards per carry. He was the third running back for the Giants. In 2009, he became the second-string running back. He rushed for a career-high 778 yards and seven touchdowns that season. He also had a long catch of 55 yards.
In 2010, Bradshaw became the main running back for the Giants. He finished the season with career highs. He rushed for 1,235 yards and scored eight rushing touchdowns.
Super Bowl XLVI Champion (2011)
In 2011, Bradshaw signed a new four-year contract. In Week 6, he scored three touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills. He rushed for nine touchdowns during the season, which was a career best.
Bradshaw scored the winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLVI. This was against the New England Patriots again. He ran for a 6-yard touchdown with less than a minute left. The Patriots allowed him to score so they could get the ball back. However, the Giants won the game 21-17.
Final Season with Giants (2012)
In 2012, Bradshaw shared playing time with rookie David Wilson. He still had a good season. He played in 14 games. He rushed for 1,015 yards and six touchdowns. This was his second time reaching over 1,000 rushing yards. In one game against the Cleveland Browns, he ran for 200 yards and a touchdown. The Giants won that game 41-27. The Giants released Bradshaw on February 6, 2013.
Time with the Indianapolis Colts (2013-2015)
On June 11, 2013, Bradshaw signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He had an injury in Week 3 and needed neck surgery. This put him on the injured reserve list.
In 2014, Bradshaw re-signed with the Colts. Before an injury in Week 6, he had six touchdown catches. This led all NFL running backs at the time. He finished the 2014 season with 425 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. He also had 300 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns.
