Early Life and Training
Alexandra Boyd was born in Bangor, Wales. She grew up in Norwich, England. When she was 16, she started studying acting full-time at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom. Later, in 1986, she continued her acting studies at Drama Studio London.
She also helped start a theatre company. This company performed plays by Shakespeare and other classic stories. They put on shows in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. They also took English plays to Italy. In 1993, she played Eliza Doolittle in the play Pygmalion during an Italian tour.
While living in Los Angeles, Alexandra also studied art, architecture, and design. She even trained to be an interior designer at UCLA.

Alexandra Boyd lived in the United States for 17 years before moving back to the UK in 2006. While in Los Angeles, she acted in big movies like Mr. Holland's Opus and James Cameron's famous film Titanic.

The film also screened at nine other international film festivals in 2014 and 2015. It won an award at the "Sport Movies & TV - Milano International FICTS Fest" in Italy.
