Alice Vieira studied at the University of Lisbon. She wrote her final paper about the plays of George Bernard Shaw. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as a journalist. This means she wrote for newspapers and magazines.
Alice Vieira has written more than 80 books! Many of her books have won important awards in Portugal for children's and teen literature.
